BOON + PLUM for you! | A Giveaway

The Beast is 9 months old, and to tell you a little about our struggle, he is such a busy dude that making sure he gets enough daily calories, is an on-going task. Getting him to nurse or use a bottle is like pinning down a greased pig. At meal times he eats what we eat, and does a wonderful job, but I still give him purees just because it is an easy way to get more nutrients in him, and he likes them, so hey! It works!

I make 95% of his purees (more on that in a different post), but sometimes you need quick and easy, and our go to choice is Plum Organics. We bought them on a whim once because they were on sale (and they are frequently 10 for $10 at Babies R Us/Sprouts/Amazon - Target tends to be more expensive), and because of their less than typical flavors, like Blueberry, Pear & Purple Carrot. We came to love the food though, it was the first store-bought baby food that actually tasted good, and not bland. Also, Plum makes it easy to figure out what nutrients are in which fruit/vegetable. Check out their pantry, even if you make your own food it is a great reference list.

The Beast's favorite flavor (and mine)? Pumpkin & Banana

So in honor of giving the little foodies in your life what they really want, how about a giveaway? Yes? Wonderful!

The spinach, pea and pears does it for me. The spinach reminds me of the rolling, green hills of Ireland with it's dancing pear trees sparkling with their juicy "pearfectly" delicious gemfruits (I made that word up just now) while the yummy green peas reflect off the luscious Kelley green grasses of the Kealarney (rhymes with Blarney) Hills. All this tastiness is making my Irish mouth water in anticipation of absolute baby food yumminess !!!!!! xoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxxo

We don't have these yummy looking baby foods here - so as he was choosing a favourite "blind" so to speak, I let him choose the easiest way. I made the pic really big and the first one Ollie chose was Pear and Mango!!! Or, it could have actually been the whole lot... not too sure his chubby hand just really wanted to smack the computer screen :P hehe - they all look super yummy though!! :)
